Here I present an incredible Indonesian chocolate cats eye sapphire pendant. It's very unusual in its own right and set in a heavy 925 solid backed sterling silver bezel measuring 23.8mm x 13.9mm. The pendant comes with a 18" sterling silver snake chain. Alternative necklaces are available if desired. Matching ring is also available. Being entirely natural it has inclusions that add to its uniqueness and add to its mysterious depths.
Sapphire is a precious stone of the corundum group with a Mohs hardness of 9. This is a delightful stone because you can see the silk and growth lines clearly. Sapphires glow a fabulous red under UV light hence the odd picture below.
Brown/bronze sapphires are thought to ward off other peoples negativity and bring confidence & wisdom. It is also a great stone for grounding. It protects against toxic energies and negative vibes that drag you down and helps balance emotions.
Being my birthstone I'm drawn to all sapphires.
